has created an opportunity for musicians to get paid for distribution and consumption of their work as well as created a means for others to take part in distributing music and be able to profit financially for his or her contribution to the distribution chain.

Lawrence Pimentel, luthier, manufacturer of hand-crafted acoustic guitars in the Spanish Tradition and owner of LP Guitars

Lawrence Pimentel began learning the art of guitar building around the age of 13 working along side his father Lorenzo and his brothers at a custom shop known as Pimentel & Sons Guitar Makers, Inc.™.  Lawrence was taught about the construction of guitars in a Spanish tradition as well as extensive repair variations for a wide range of stringed instruments.  Lawrence hired on at Tacoma Guitars™ and participated in the design of their nylon stringed models ER64NC and ECR15C, and also managed the repair department where he acquired skills and knowledge in a large production environment making Lawrence and LP Guitars experts of both custom and manufactured methodologies in creating an efficient custom guitar.  See www.lpguitars.com for more info.
